The MTV Video Music Awards has gone and like ‘normal’ there has been a few fashion moments worth talking about. One in particular is from Ciara who showed out in a Haute Couture gown from Givenchy’s Fall 2010 collection.
A similar version of the gown was previously spotted on Beyonce at the 2012 MET Ball, after Riccardo Tisci gave it a total makeover. The most appealing part of Beyonce’s custom version was the long train of ombre ostrich feathers that stretched a few feet long.
Prior to the show, Ciara revealed to Elle Magazine her excitement surrounding her dress while saying that she had been eying the dress for awhile:
I usually don’t get overly excited, but this is a dress I’ve wanted to wear for forever. My eyes got watery when I tried it on! I won’t say who it’s by, but let’s just say it’s “bling bling!
