‘Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ to Do ‘Thor 2′ Crossover Episode

The “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”. storyline somehow ties in with the events in “Thor: The Dark World”. ABC has officially revealed through a plot synopsis that the action TV series will be doing a crossover episode with the upcoming Thor film. “The Well”, which will air November 19 after the “Thor”
sequel is released in U.S. theaters on November 8, will continue where the film left off. The episode’s summary reads, “In the aftermath of the events chronicled in the feature film Marvel’s ‘Thor: The Dark World’, Coulson and the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. pick up the pieces–one of which threatens to destroy a member of the team.” There’s no word whether the episode will feature any characters from “Thor 2″, but after a surprise appearance from Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury in an earlier outing, fans may expect to get a similar treat when tuning into the “Thor” crossover episode. So far, guest stars confirmed for the episode include Peter MacNicol as Professor Elliot Randolph, Michael Graziadei as Jakob Nystrom, Erin Way as Petra Larsen, Toby Wilson as Neils, Alex Neustaedter as Maynard and Sylvia Brindis as Elena. Meanwhile, Maximiliano Hernandez’s Agent Sitwell, who appeared in the first “Thor” film and will be seen in the upcoming “Captain America: The Winter Soldier”, will stop by “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” in a later episode titled “The Hub”. In the said outing, dangerous secrets are being kept from Coulson’s team, and he works the system to save Ward and Fitz when they are sent on a Level 8 classified mission that may end in tragedy.
