One Direction accused of speeding through red lights
It was alleged that the band One direction did not stop at red lights, as they were trying to outrun fans who were chasing them, on their way to their hotel from the airport in Australia. The Western Australia Assistant Commissioner is not going to take it lightly with the band. He said: “I have been made aware of it, and I’ve
asked our traffic enforcement group to have a look at it. We need to determine the facts and obviously if there’s any evidence supporting the allegations,” “It’s unacceptable behavior. It breaches the law and we will deal with every person in the same way.” “By virtue of the fact that they are rock stars is not a license to break any laws or be any different from anyone else. One Direction they may be, but the only direction in relation to this type of offence will be to the courts,” he added. A representative of the band has denied the allegation saying, they did not run through any red lights but only stopped to tell fans about obeying traffic rules. After two fans went through red lights while chasing them.
