Update: Soldiers Rescue Most of the Abducted Female Students
This is why Nigerians must continue to shout and cry out whenever things are going wrong as such loud shouts and cry have the capacity to force the government to wake up from their slumber and do the needful.
Following consistent complains across the country, the Nigerian soldiers went in search of the kidnapped girls of Government Girls' Secondary School, in Chibok, and as at the last count, the soldiers have been able to free majority of them through an ongoing Search & Rescue operations.
The soldiers remain in hot pursuit of Boko Haram militants in their intervention and search and rescue move to return the innocent girls to their family. A Nigerian military spokesman said the operation will continue in order to ensure the safety of the remaining students is ongoing in the suspected areas...
It would be recalled that on Monday, members from the Boko Haram Islamic sect had kidnapped well over 100 students in a nighttime raid on the school. They were heavily armed, and some wore military uniforms in an attack that included several fires, with an exchange of gunfire on the state run school.
Following the success of the soldiers rescue operation so far, the Principal of the school has confirmed that only 8 of the female students are still missing.
I heard one of the terrorists who carried out the attack on the school has also been captured. Good job
