Founder and Chairman of First City Monument Bank Otunba Michael Olasubomi Balogun marked his 80th birthday in grand style yesterday.
Friends, family, business associates and high profiled societal figures showed up to celebrate with the billionaire business man.
The church service held at Cathedral Church of Christ (Anglican Communion), Marina, Lagos while the grand reception held in a special marquee at Tafawa Balewa Square(TBS).
The celebrant and his wife were escorted by horse riders to the church from their eye-popping palatial home on Glover road Ikoyi.
Notable faces at the celebration were the Oba of Lagos, HRH Oba Akiolu, Lagos State First Lady Mrs Abimbola Fashola, Chief Dele Momodu, Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State, Zenith Bank's Jim Ovia and wifey, Chief Femi Pedro, Evangelist Ebenezer Obey, OAP Toke Makinwa and many others.
